Cheongju KB of the Korean Women’s Professional Basketball League moved into a tie for second place with Bucheon Hana OneQ behind an 18-point, 15-rebound “double-double” performance from national team member Park Ji-soo.
KB defeated Hana WonQ 74-64 in a home game of the Woori Bank Woori WON 2023-2024 Women’s Professional Basketball League regular season at Cheongju Gymnasium on Sunday.
After opening with two straight wins and suffering its first loss of the season to Asan Woori Bank on Nov. 15, KB turned things around with a sweep at home.
KB, which was in third place, moved into a tie for second place (3-1) with Yongin Samsung Life.

KB opened up a double-digit lead, 32-21, midway through the second quarter on back-to-back 3-pointers by Kang Isul and Heo Ye-eun and never looked back.
Park Ji-soo led the way for KB with a “double-double” performance of 18 points and 15 rebounds.
For Hana OneQ, Yang In-young scored a game-high 23 points to go along with 11 rebounds in a losing effort.
